Drew's gonna make me tumblr famous. YEAH.
I like that you reblogged the most tumblrish ones.
Coal Miner's Daughter Series
Not that I'll get any responses.
Would you guys rather me publish posts of individual/ a couple pictures at a time? Or my current photo dumps? As much as I want to not care about reblogs and follows, it’s nice to get opinions on my work and it’s not happening with my current format. Maybe I should start a new page just for single posts?
Expired Fuji Sensia 200
Just got back rolls from my Olympus ZX 50 and my lomography fish eye. Here are things that happened in film pictures my life stuff.
Another film trade
http://www.lomography.com/homes/aprilrich427 AprilRich and I traded another spool of film, here’s what went down, photographically.
Some Double Exposures.
I traded some film with AprilRich on lomography.com (http://www.lomography.com/homes/aprilrich427) She shot first and I doubled over it. I think it came out neat.
Just bought two film cameras on Ebay.
I have now spent like 90 dollars on defunct camera equipment.
Film in the camera for over two months.
I averaged three photos a week. What resulted were really select snapshots that didn’t demonstrate the whole of each occasion, but focused more on the moments themselves. Or something pretentious like that. Actually, this ^^^^ photo deserves a post of it’s own. Look for that one on my other account, terribledoctor. \
Fuck Yeah Film Major Flamingo: When I'm Editing... →
I need to start doing this. I also desperately need to turn 21. fuckyeahfilmmajorflamingo: …for friends or on campus organizations and they ask me how long it will take, I tell them in “the number of bottles of beer I think I could consume during the course of the edit.” Generally speaking, if I already know I’ll be working for free, this is the part where they offer to at least buy me…
This is my summer.
Add looking up things to cook then despairing at my lack of money, and you have my summer. oh-crud: Spending my days living off of crosswords puzzles and netflix instant.
Huge Picnic Day
My life this past week has been pure college.
“Always being behind a camera, it’s almost like I’m a part of things. I’ll settle for being a documentarian and story teller if I can’t be a participant.” - Someone who probably won’t be famous someday, whining about life.
Fisheye plus redscale. It's just a mess.
Apparently combining two gimmicks doesn’t make automatically awesome photos.
Too many pictures of things.
I have this problem where my pictures turn out how I expect them, because I don’t expect them to be very good. I’m planning to plan a photoshoot, it might be ground-breakingly mediocre. Stay tuned.
Block Party and Day Drinking
Two wonderful films, Ektar 100 and Portra 160NC. A few more accidental double exposures than I would have liked, but some neat results. My new favorite film, Ektar 100 Now the Portra 160NC

I quite enjoy your pictures(:
I quite enjoy your pictures(:
ellixphoto-deactivated20110614- asked: what film scanner are you using? :)
Someone had a birthday.
Like anyone needs an excuse for a party. If anyone who is in these pictures wants a bigger copy of one of the strips, let me know on facebook. This one was alone in the frame so I scanned it separately. This one too. … I think this is me. This one is definitely me. And the Prop Closet hat. and one more that barely made it onto the film. ...
Lomography X-pRo Triple Exposure
I bought this film at the lomography store in NYC, the british blonde who sold it to me said it was really faithful on color. You can never trust a brit.
Some film photography.
Kodak Ektachrome 120t on a diana mini and a holga mini.
Possible for the Amateur Photographer's Forum...
Here’s some possible pics I’m thinking of entering. Let me know what you guys think. ^^^^^Probably going to redo this one. So what do you guys think?
I have been wanting to do a photoshoot with Katie for almost a year. She has a really great confidence and casual style that I thought would show through well in the camera. We finally fit into both of our schedules and drove to the historic district of Bethlehem, PA. She was a great model, very willing to change small details about her expression of posture. She suggested a few great shots as...
I've been away!
So apparently school is difficult! Who knew? Anyway, I’ve been busy so I haven’t logged on in forever. I just did a great photo shoot so some of the results will be in the next post. As always, any comments or critiques are welcome. Also as always, it won’t happen because I have 10 followers.
Working on trying to learn curves and color correcting. But you can just learn it because it’s an eyeballing type thing. So mainly just practicing and aiming at the look I want. Which changes as I edit. What I keep ending up with are photos I’m almost happy with and no idea how I got there. I’ll post some examples later. Maybe you peeps can tell me what I’m doing wrong or...

A Recent Photo Shoot part 1
I’m really really new to this whole, taking pictures thing. Any feedback by people who do know what their doing would be appreciated.
I love parties for taking pictures. Everyone is too distracted or too drunk to think, “Oh, I hate my smile,” or “My eyes are too squinty.” People are just having fun and being they’re loudest selves.
Some Light Painting Experiments
Some of these were film, some are digital. They were all really fun to do. I learned a lot for next time I try something like this.
Some beautiful people I've gotten great impromput...
All of these are from my point and shoot. All of these are unplanned an unposed. There’s some editing on these, but nothing much beyond basic color work.
Some of my first film photos.
This was one of the first rolls of film I shot with my diana mini (if you don’t know what that is, look it up. It’s expensive hipster at it’s finest). This was regular Kodak Gold 200 iso, but the colors are some of the best I’ve ever gotten with C41 film. My church was having a carnival thing later in that week, so I snuck in (read: walked under the caution tape) and took...
Point and Shoot stuff
I’ve got a Nikon d3100 now, but here’s a few shots from back before; in the land of shitty cameras. We were just playing around, so it’s not serious art here. She was really awesome to photography though, really willing to pose even if she didn’t understand what I was going for. If I ever have a lot of time and patience, I might go in and fix her pinky in this one. Not...
Hey guys. Welcome to my plog. Fun times.
Plog - It’s a photo blog. I omitted the ‘h’ because phlog sounds painful and vaguely religious. Only one of which describes me. This is my space to post my photography, film and digital. Follow if you think I’m or it’s cool. If not, well, live your life. Not a huge deal. Hopefully some people like what I do. If you do, give a shout out, favorite something, or reblog...
